If you’re bored to tears of cheesy discos with DJs playing the same old songs and think you could do better, this is your big chance!

Get up on stage, spin some tunes and become a superstar DJ for 15 glorious minutes!

DJing on your own, in pairs or in small teams, get behind the wheels of steel and spin three or four of your favourite tracks and revel as your colleagues burn up the dancefloor.

No DJ experience is necessary as you will be guided through the process to DJ superstardom by our technical helpers. So, even if you don’t know the difference between a turntable and a dining table, you can still get involved and get the room jumping with some top choonage.

Before the big night, guests who wish to spin their favourite tunes can register their interest through the event’s dedicated website. Once you’ve submitted your tracks and given yourself an appropriate DJ name (Vinyl Ritchie, DJ Darth Fader, Bob Funkhouse, for example) anything between 8 and 18 DJ sets will be chosen to perform on the night. The number of DJ sets chosen will be guided by the amount of time available for Stick It On.

Our DJ team (all professionals) will ensure the night works musically by choosing the best sets and running order and ensuring there is an appropriate gender split and mix of musical genres.

The night will kick off with a short DJ set from one of our team to get everyone in the party mood. The MC will then introduce the guest DJs before guiding them around the decks to play their music to an enthusiastic dancefloor packed with friends and colleagues.

There is also the opportunity to up the ante, visually, with DJ and crowd cams that will be beamed onto big screens around the venue along with quirky visuals, logos and messages – just like Fatboy Slim!

Who is ‘The Supreme Choon Selector’ in your organisation? Only the crowd’s reaction indicates who really knows how to rock the dancefloor! If there’s time left, our team of DJs can then round off the festivities with an anthemic set which will have the dancefloor rocking so much you’ll think the roof will rip off!

A ‘Pop Up Party’ package, (a paper-part version of our App) allows guests to select their playlists on the night from catalogues of music bursting with enough floorfillers to keep even the most picky muso happy.

Guests pick three tracks, complete the attached DJ registration form, and submit their selections to one of the Stick It On crew. Using the latest DJ technology, we can get anyone behind the decks quicker than you can say Calvin Ha… to rattle the speakers with their killer choons, under the guidance of our expert crew.

Our catalogues can be tailor-made to suit the demographic of the party, or to follow a theme or suggestion from the client (i.e. 60s/70s/80s).

It’s a riotous round-robin of musical treats, ideal for a confident and fun-loving crowd!

The DJ Face Off

If your team is a competitive bunch who love a good party, then the DJ Face Off is an ideal way to separate the men, and ladies, from the boys, and girls.

Challenge other teams in your office by pitching DJ versus DJ in a head-to-head battle behind the decks.

The gloves will be off as teams battle it out, aided and abetted by our very own version of Don King as master of ceremonies. DJs will be paraded through the audience to a stage decorated as a giant boxing ring. Before the big night, DJs (either as a team, or individuals) can register their interest online, or through the event’s bespoke microsite.

Once you’ve submitted the tracks you want to play and given yourself a fight-night DJ name (Del ‘The Destroyer’ Donaldson or The Office Angels, for example) our team of professional DJs will work with you to choose the DJ order to ensure there’s a good gender split and mix of musical genres.

On the night, as the atmosphere builds, the DJ teams will be drawn into rounds and will then spin their three hottest tracks, playing alternate choons back-to-back. As the battle reaches its climax, the event host turns to the audience and asks them to vote for one winner from each round.

The audience’s applause is measured by the famous Stick It On ‘Choon-O-Meter’ displayed on screen(s) around the venue. The whole spectacle is then repeated for each pair of duelling DJs, before the two most popular winners are invited back on stage to battle it out in a no-holds-barred final for the coveted title of ‘The Finest Choon Selector’.

The Dinnertime Sessions

Enjoy a fantastic dinner and then get behind the decks to impress your colleagues with your DJing skills.

As the drinks are flowing and everyone tucks into dinner, members of our team will deliver DJ goodie bags to each table. The bags contain headphones, a drinks rider of spirit miniatures, a ‘how to be a superstar DJ manual’, a selection of music from our own digital library and other assorted goodies such as Resolve for the DJ hangover and handcream for tired fader fingers!

Once you’ve had a good look at the contents of your bag and had a thorough thumb-through the DJ manual, you’ll have to decide on what roles you’re going to play within your team. Each team needs a DJ, an MC, a DJ-cam technician and even dancers!

Then, it’s time to flick through our music catalogue and handpick four or five tracks which you think will blow the roof off. We have a huge range of music – crossing all genres – to choose from, so we should have something to please all members of your group.

Once you’ve finished dinner, it’s show time! Team by team, you’ll be invited up to the DJ booth by the MC and then it’ll be your task to get everyone up and dancing with your killer cuts. Our professional DJ crew will be on hand to guide you step-by-step through your set. You couldn’t be in safer hands!

The crowd reaction to the sets will be gauged with the most popular DJ team crowned champions at the end of the evening. To round off the festivities, one of our DJ team will play a floorfilling set to keep the dancefloor rocking!
