When some friends first told us about Stick It On, we were immediately excited because it meant that both our music tastes (country & jungle) could be accommodated easily. Our friends signed up enthusiastically and Stick It On kept us updated throughout the process with who had signed up and the songs they had requested – and even gave us the embeddable code so that we could put the form on our wedding website. We were worried that we wouldn’t have enough people interested – but who knew so many of our friends secretly wished to be DJs?! We had so many friends sign up that we weren’t able to accommodate everyone and instead had a lottery draw. On the day of, Stick It On were professional, enthusiastic and made sure everything ran seamlessly. When we were looking for a PA system for our wedding, they even worked with our wedding planners and videographers to provide. There was no question we wanted Stick It On as our wedding entertainment, being Brighton residents we’d both enjoyed countless amazing nights at SIO club nights and also other friends weddings – dancing the night away to a unique blend of top ‘choons’!
However we were intrigued to see how our family and friends who weren’t familiar with SIO would take to it…………we needn’t have worried – they loved it!
It didn’t take long to get the party started, and once it did…….there was no stopping some! The dance floor was packed, the DJ selection was varied, everyone took a turn from mere youngsters to the older generation.

The main reason we booked Stick It On for our wedding was so all of our guests had an opportunity to get involved on the day. We were overwhelmed by the response – in fact so many guests submitted playlists that we had to pair several wannabe DJs up on the night. We couldn’t have asked for better entertainment. So many people we know love their music that to invite them to select three of the best for our wedding night was perfect. Rob helped to make it really straightforward Which was great as we had so many other things to plan. The Stick it On massive were really helpful and organised in setting up the microsite for our would be DJ’s to enter their tune lists. Rob handled the final filtering with care to create a brilliant playlist. We included the children in the early section and moved on to the ravers as the night went on, ending with the O’Jays Love Train booming out as we danced around the venue in a long line! “Our guests had diverse musical tastes, most of which we have shared with them at one point of another. Stick It On provides a perfect moderation of letting the guests run riot with your wedding entertainment but having a professional ‘chaperone’ helping them DJ. Everyone loved it – they got to press buttons, dance like maniacs, and got to take their DJ name poster home with them at the end! Most DJs DEFINITELY would not have had about 75% of the tracks featured for requests (unless illegally streaming) so we wanted a completely bespoke soundtrack to our wedding.”

“Stick It On exceeded all our expectations and proved to be a fantastic finale for our wedding day. We were conscious of not wanting to go down the cheesy wedding DJ route but realised that our options were fairly limited to either a band or a DJ. This seemed to be a perfect alternative whereby everybody could get involved and contribute by playing some of their songs on the night. Rob and Tim were with us every step of the way with an initial meeting a few months before the big day and then regular email and occasional phone updates. We knew exactly where we were and felt that everything was under control. Our guests all embraced the opportunity to ‘get behind the decks’ and we had far more DJ’s than we needed. Once the DJs were selected Rob contacted everybody and ran through the finer details of how it was all going to work. When they saw the venue (which was a farmyard barn) they knew what set up would work. When explained to them that we would like a mirrorball, they managed to source a MASSIVE mirror for us to use (which was fantastic) and they set this all up and took it down. This was part of their service and was a great help as it was something that I didn’t have to worry about. We didn’t have to worry about a thing with Stick it On as they took care of everything so that we could concentrate on getting ready for our wedding day. On the day again they were great, organising themselves with the venue owners and getting things logistically spot on. “Whilst planning our wedding we were stuck between the dilemma of having a DJ or a band. We didnt want to have the usual wedding band or DJ playing the same old music and were on the look out for something a bit different. We found Stick It On in an article in a wedding magazine and immediatley thought we had struck gold! From our first meeting with Tim in a cafe in Brighton we were not disappointed.
